Midfield Maestro: Paul Scholes



Paul Scholes, when you here this names you remember a legend in the middle of the park. He started his football carrier as a youth player in the Red Devils academy at the age of 14 in 1991. Paul has made more than 700 appearances for United and is still on the pitch playing for the Old Trafford Club. Scholes announced his retirement from club football at the end of 2011 season. But later in 2012 January he came out of retirement to serve his club and made a great impact on the middle of the park.

Best Moment: Scored a thunderous volley at the Nou camp to beat Barcelona in 2008 UEFA Champions League Semi-finals. Manchester United went on to lift the trophy that season.

But the good thing for United fans and players is Scholes will coach the youth team and midfielders of the great Manchester United.
