United overcome Chelsea at Stamford Bridge


VAN PERSIE CELEBRATED AFTER SCORING AGAINST CHELSEA


The much awaited heavy weight English Premier League encounter between Chelsea and Manchester United was really a stunning game. The Red Devils came out winner with hard fought 3-2 win over 9 men the Blues. Full back Branislav Ivanovic and Fernando Torres were sent off by referee Mark Clattenburg.

United made a quick start with a deflected own goal by Chelsea defender David Luiz in the 3rd minute. And former Arsenal man Robin Van Persie scored the second for United in the 12th minute. First quarter was dominated by the visitors and the European Champions showed their class in later part of the first half Spaniard Juan Mata opened the scoring for Blues in the 43rd minute with a fantastic free kick.

In the second half Chelsea were dominant and Brazilian Ramires leveled with a header in the 53rd minute. Mark Clattenburg showed red card for Ivanovic for a tackle on Ashley Young. Then followed it with a second yellow card for Fernando Torres for diving, but it was a rash and controversial.United went on to win the match with Chicharito Hernandez 75th minute goal.
